The Faïencerie d’Art Breton receives the designation “Entreprise du patrimoine vivant” !

Recognition for the youngest of the Quimper faïenceries: receiving the national designation ENTREPRISE DU PATRIMOINE VIVANT for a business that fosters an ongoing tradition. A letter from cabinet minister Renaud Dutreil has just confirmed the honor.

The Faïencerie d’Art Breton issues an updated “Botanical” series.

The designs of Ar Roué round out the collection of artists’ works of the Faïencerie d’Art Breton.

Born in Gouesnac’h, Ar Roué utilises his artistic achievements in areas as diverse as graphic novels, posters, book illustrations, logo design … Enamored of the coast between Lanildut and Portsall (North Finistère), he takes his inspiration from seagulls and the fishermen who rake seaweed.

“Une Œuvre de Faïence” : the jury prize is awarded to Daphné Pauwels.

At the meeting held on July 1 at the Musée de la Faïence de Quimper, the votes for the Jury Prize of the fourth competition were counted. Almost all the members voted on this occasion. The work of Daphné Pauwels, titled La Métamorphose Aquatique (“The Aquatic Metamorphosis”), earned the majority of votes. As for the first three competitions, the Faïencerie d’Art Breton has been chosen to manufacture this technically complex piece (limited edition of 110).
